Indow offers a range of window light-blocking solutions to help you protect artwork, reduce air conditioning bills, gain privacy or create darkness for better sleep. We custom make our inserts to fit your window openings, using silicone compression tubing so they press snugly into place.
There are so many unique challenges when it comes to controlling light. We’ll help you create a custom solution without having to replace your windows or hang curtains, shades or blinds.

We offer three different grades to help you control light in your space. Museum Grade blocks 98 percent of UV radiation. Sleep Panels seal out all light for a deep sleep. Privacy Grade is made of a clouded acrylic that diffuses light, obscuring any details or shadows.
Just like all our inserts, each of our three window light-blocking solutions eliminates drafts and reduces noise. So even if you’re simply trying to keep furniture from fading or looking for a window-privacy solution in the bathroom, you’ll enjoy other benefits as well including:
- 50 percent reduction in outside noise.*
- Increased comfort by eliminating drafts.
- Up to 20% lower heating and cooling bills.
- Easy to install and remove.
*We want to ensure our inserts help solve your noise problem. Overall noise reduction depends on the amount of noise coming through your walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and existing windows. Noise reduction will be less when placed over double-pane windows. Read our full Noise Reduction Sheet to learn more.
